Grape is a Xian model saber marionette with a Maiden Circuit that is a copy of Ranma 1/2’s Shampoo, from her looks to her personality. She was built by ThunderFox JT for GreatDragon AD since he really love Shampoo. He awakened her so she falls in love with him since all saber marionettes with Maiden Circuits always have deep emotions for the first person they see after being awakened. Like Shampoo, she is cheerful and energetic yet stubborn. She is an expert in Chinese martial arts, the art of hidden weaponry, and Chinese cuisine. Her favorite weapon of choice is the Naginata, the Japanese spear. The only thing she is different from Shampoo is that she is bustier than she is and that she is an android. But she does anything to please AD. She used to look just like Shampoo, but ever since she keeps being mistaken from her, Grape gotten a more original look. Her long purple hair is tied to two separate lowered ponytails and wears a Chinese outfit that is similar to Guilty Gear X’s Jam Kuradoberi but with different color. However, JT did give her a “special” ability. She can change her bust size but there is a flaw with it. She loses control with this ability whenever she overreacts or get too emotional. Later on, she recieved an upgrade that let’s her use her size-changing ability on her butt as well.
Well, she’s the first of my three girls. Yes, the inspiration from creating Grape is from known anime series. Expect that from the others too. I know its not really original but I do put so much work on creating them. My characters are like a part of me. Anyway, I consider Grape as my favorite of the three girls. It is the same for most of the people who know of my characters. Either if its her hairstyle or her feminine charm, we love her. Like in her descriptions, she is like Ranma 1/2’s Shampoo. Ranma 1/2 is my first and all-time favorite series and Shampoo is my favorite anime girl of the series and Ukyo comes to second. I just love Shampoo for who she is, from her cute yet beautiful looks to her positive yet stubborn personality. My favorite scene in the series of her was in the first episode of the OVA where she takes her shower. She was nicely endowed in that scene compared in the TV series. Then I watched Saber Marionette J about a guy with three android girls living in the same apartment. But then when I found out about breast expansion, I wished to have someone who’s like Shampoo but “bigger”.
Her first design was looking exactly like her an outfit of Darkstalkers’ Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei. After introducing her, I started to have complaints how Grape look too much like Shampoo. I took it seriously but I don’t want to change my first original character too much that is not my avatar-self and his clone counterparts. So I decided some minor changes, only to do them on her clothes and hairstyle. I kept her buns but I made her long hair tied to two separate ponytails and gave her a new outfit since I was fascinated from Jam Kuradoberi’s from Guilty Gear. So that’s how she came to be now. I know my writing is too much but this the first time I introduce my characters publicly online. That’s one down, two to go. I just wanted to give you enough details to fully understand them…well, mostly understand, heh heh. Well, ’til next post. This is GDAD signing off.
P.S: The pics were done by John Barrett himself, famous for drawing the first issue of WLP’s Magnificient Milkmaid, creator of the busty yet horny Roxikat, and other such works. They were actually commissions from A-Kon 14 when he used to go to Anime conventions. But since he stopped from going tot hsoe cons from his lack of popularity there, he sticks with furry conventions since that what he mostly draws like Anthrocon. As for colors, they were doen by my good friend and Fred Peryr fan Kitsune.
