Progress thus far…Parte Tres
Again, sorry for the late update. As you already know, its been hard for me to get more art as I try to save money when I only been getting less hours at work. However, my luck has changed when I finally gone back to working five days a week again since many of the employees of the supermarket I work for transferred to the new store they recently opened. It was good timing too since I haven’t been getting much of the checks from the BESC advertising program like I used to as they are beeing sent less and less often. But I did manage to get some commissions for this update and finallly got the time to post them.
Second, I am not planning to go to any Anime conventions this year. I was originally going to Las Vegas to make up for my first visit but I didn’t save enough money for the exact date I wanted to go there. Because of that, this gives me a good opportunity to plan for a much bigger trip and its my long time dream of going to Japan. It will be hard to save enough money for at least a one week tour package over there but it will be all worth it once I succedd in arriving to my planned destination as my next goal.
Luck has changed once again as I somehow managed to catch the Chicken Pox. Never did I had the illness while I was a child and now I caught it as a 26 year-old. I heard that its worse when you get it as an adult and let me tell you they werent’ bluffing. First days of the illness was Hell for me. Blisters growing almost everywhere around your body, mostly around my head, face, front body, and back. I was lucky it didn’t spread much on my arms and legs. Also it gives me a fever, upset stomach, and unbearable pain and itch on my head and body. This prevented me from working since it is a contagious virus. But these days I’m getting better but I won’t be back to work until May 3rd so says my doctor’s notes. Meaning I won’t get paid for two weeks. This definitely ruined my plans on saving but I won’t let that stop me. During my time of illness, I learned so many things, especially having a family who cares about you and your health is what’s important.
Last but not least, progress on my writing. I managed to write up to chapter five for my webcomic projhect with JC. However, I haven’t heard anything from him on his thoughts on the scripts after I sent them to him. At this time, I’ currently writing chapter six while I wait plus I promised a certain artist from FA that I write a script about Bloodlust Lisa and/or Grape for him. No other plans on what work on after that. Anyway, that’s about it. Enjoy the art I gotten so far on the next two posts.
